Located in North Vancouver, Lynn Canyon Park is a forested area known for its trails, waterfalls, and the iconic Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge. The 50-meter-high suspension bridge offers a thrilling crossing over a deep gorge, surrounded by old-growth rainforest. There are several pairs of ospreys nesting and raising chicks by the Pitt Lake, and you can observe male and female birds and chicks. On that day, I took photos of the ospreys returning to their nests after catching fish, as well as the chicks' very interesting behavior.

Pitt Lake湖边有数对鱼鹰在筑巢育雏，能够观测到雌雄成鸟以及雏鸟。当天，我拍到了鱼鹰捕鱼回巢的照片以及雏鸟十分有意思的行为。

Shorebird or Waders are birds that commonly found wading along shorelines and mudflats in order to forage for food. There are many of them can be found in Vancouver area, I have saw/recorded a few different kinds of them and still looking for more.

滨鸟或涉禽是一种常见于沿海岸线和泥滩涉水觅食的鸟类。温哥华地区有很多滨鸟，我曾见过/记录过几种不同的滨鸟，目前仍在寻找更多。

Birds in Vancouver(Cormorant)-Vol.16温哥华鸟类 (鸬鹚)

Alone the shoreline of Vancouver, you could see some cormorants from time to time. I have spotted two species of them, Double-crested Cormorant and Pelagic Cormorant. They will stand on a rock in the middle of water to dry their wings, and I saw 2 of them fighting for the place.

沿着温哥华海岸线行走，偶尔能看到一些鸬鹚。我见过两种：双冠鸬鹚和海鸬鹚。它们会站在水中央的岩石上晾干翅膀，我还看到两只鸬鹚在争抢这个位置。

2025 Fleet Week (202507)

This Canada Day, 3 Royal Canadian Navy and 1 Mexican Navy warships and submarine visited North Vancouver and open to public as a part of Fleet Week activity.

今年加拿大日，3艘加拿大皇家海军和1搜到访的墨西哥海军舰艇停靠在North Vancouver码头并对公众开放，为今年Fleet Week活动的一部分。

There are some birds eat fish as main resource of food, recently, I took photos of two kinds of those birds from different distance. One is a heron standing almost in front of me, the other is a kingfisher on the other side of lake.

有些鸟以鱼为主要食物来源，最近我从不同距离拍摄了两种这样的鸟。一只几乎站在我面前的大蓝鹭，另一只则是湖对岸的翠鸟。

I saw three barn swallow chicks sitting together on a branch by the lake. Later I discovered that they were waiting for their parents to feed them, so I took this set of photos.

在湖边的一个树枝上，看到三只家燕的雏鸟坐在一起，后来发现它们正在等待亲鸟喂食，故而拍下了这组照片。
