Cancún Hotel Zone Coastline

The Cancún Hotel Zone, located along the northeastern coast of the Yucatán Peninsula, is one of the Caribbean’s most iconic resort destinations. Stretching for miles, its white-sand beaches and turquoise waters create a striking tropical landscape. At sunrise, the sun emerges over the Caribbean Sea, casting golden light across the water, while evenings bring warm colors to the sky above the lagoon on the western side of the peninsula. Captured through traditional photography, aerial drone imagery, and action-camera perspectives from the shoreline, the coastline can be appreciated from multiple viewpoints—from sweeping views of sandbars and wave patterns to close-up scenes of surf and beach life. Together, these perspectives reveal the natural beauty and vibrant atmosphere that define Cancún’s world-famous shoreline.

Birds in Vancouver (Brown Pelican)-Vol.33

In mid-April 2026, a rare Brown Pelican (Pelecanus occidentalis) appeared in the waters near Science World in downtown Vancouver, quickly becoming a local birding sensation. Normally associated with the warmer Pacific and Atlantic coasts of North America, Brown Pelicans are uncommon visitors to British Columbia’s south coast. The bird attracted birders and photographers from across the region eager to document this unusual sighting. Recognizable by its large throat pouch and graceful silhouette, the Brown Pelican is famous for its dramatic plunge-diving technique used to catch fish. Its extended stay around False Creek brought a touch of coastal wilderness into the heart of the city, creating a memorable event for Vancouver’s birding community.
