Birds in Vancouver(Snow Goose in Delta)-Vol.24 温哥华鸟类 (Delta的雪雁)

The Snow Goose (Anser caerulescens) is one of North America’s most iconic migratory birds. Each autumn, tens of thousands migrate south from their Arctic breeding grounds to overwinter in British Columbia’s Delta region and the Fraser River estuary. Recognized by their pure white plumage and black wingtips, they gather in vast flocks across wetlands and harvested fields, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Their arrival marks a highlight of the migration season, drawing birdwatchers and photographers to witness this remarkable natural event.
